Job Summary

AECOM is seeking engineers with 5+ years of experience in applying Radio Frequency (RF) engineering principals to support analysis and process support for legacy and emerging spectrum dependent technologies. Position requires understanding of a wide variety of spectrum dependent systems including radars, communications, data links, and SATCOM. Responsibilities will include technical review of emerging spectrum technologies, coordination and deconfliction of Navy operations in dense electromagnetic environments, development and review of policies and procedures, and finally coordination both nationally and internationally.

Minimum Requirements

  • Possess an engineering degree from an accredited university or college
  • 5+ years’ experience with applying the principles of the performance of the Radio Frequency Engineering analysis
  • Requires Secret clearance
  • Must be US Citizen 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Presidential Broadband initiative efforts, AWS-3 auction specifics, or spectrum reallocation
  • Knowledge of the either the Federal Communications Commision (FCC) or the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) system certification process
  • Knowledge of any of the following softwares: Spectrum Certification System (SCS), Equipment Location Certification Information database (EL-CID), Spectrum XXI, Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online (HNSWDO), or Stepstone
  • Experience with Identify Friend or Foe (IFF) equipment or standards\\
  • Active TS (SCI Eligible)
