Do you know Industrial Automation and can you get on the phone to talk to customers and diagnose machine failures, schedule service visits, and quote prices?
*** Use your technical expertise to walk customers through identifying parts, diagnose issues, and recommend appropriate course of action.
*** Assist with ordering spare or replacement parts.
*** Investigate and resolve problems with machine controllers remotely.
*** Schedule service team and coordinate with customers regarding timeline, pricing, parts requirements, etc.
*** 3+ years similar experience, hands-on troubleshooting and repair for Programmable Controllers, Sensors, Actuators, Human Machine Interfaces, Servos and Motors on Machinery or remote 'help desk' support for manufacturing equipment is helpful.
*** Ability to diagnose Electrical, Hydraulic, Mechanical, or Electronic issues using diagrams, schematics, part drawings, etc.
