As the Lead Technologist - Telecoms, you should have experience in leading a project team. Experience in document preparation including Functional and Detailed Design Specifications, Block Diagrams, General Arrangement Drawings, Cabinet Wiring drawings and Interconnection drawings. Designing Factory Acceptance Test programs and implementing Commissioning/Site Acceptance Tests of new systems.
This position requires extensive knowledge of radio communications, voice/telephone communications, data networks, satellite systems, and security systems typically deployed on Oil & Gas facilities onshore and offshore.
Technical design and implementation field experience with new networks. Associated Communications equipment software application configuration and testing.
Provide training on communications systems to junior engineers and technicians.

High School Diploma or GED and 12 years' experience in telecommunications
Associates' degree and 10 years' experience in telecommunications
Bachelors' degree and 8 years' experience in telecommunications
*A Master’s Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience.
*A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience.
Bachelors' degree in electrical engineering or computer science
10+ years' experience in the Oil, Gas and Chemical industry
An active Cisco CCNP or CCIE and Federal Communications Commission license
